Largely untouched by tourists compared to other islands, it’s a sacred place for both Orthodox and Catholics: Tinos is a landmark for religious people, who visit the historic church of Panagia Megalohari in the capital town every year in the middle of August ―the only time during the summer that Tinos welcomes an abundance of people. And apart from the capital town and festivals, after your all-day swimming at the beautiful beaches, there’s a lot going on in the dozens of traditional villages in Tinos, where you can try amazing local products like charcuterie and cheese, almonds and delicious honey, while admiring the natural beauty around you.

Cielo House is located on a south-west facing hill, pretty close to the middle-west coastline of the island and three of its best beaches, Kalivia, Agios Petros and Giannaki. Kalivia is a sandy and pebbly beach part of a natural bay which is protected from the strong winds. It has a beach-bar, sunbeds and umbrellas. Agios Petros on the other hand is a sandy beach without tavernas or bars, or even sunbeds. It is loved by those admiring natural, unspoiled views and tranquil places. Finally, Giannaki beach offers some great dining options (fish restaurants) some meters above. There is also, a well-organized beach bar, while the sandy beach (with big pebbles) itself, with clear and swallow waters, is ideal for families with small children.
At a distance of just 2,5 km. (5 min. drive) of the house, there is one of the most beautiful villages, not only of Tinos, but probably of all of the Cyclades, the magnificent Kardiani. The village is built on a steep slope, at an altitude of 250 meters, literally hanging over the sea. Kardiani offers a magnificent view to the Aegean Sea and 4 islands. Highlights of the village are the marble fountains, lintels and skylights and the paved alleys with arcades, picturesque arches, two-storey houses and majestic churches. 

The property itself covers a 300 sq.m. surface (up to 8 guests),  set at a private area of 1,5 acres. The grounds have mulberry and olive trees, a dry garden and an organic vegetable patch, from which guests can pick herbs and other ingredients for their culinary creations
The design and construction of the house, along with its location, makes it naturally cool in summer and equipped with central heating for winter.
 
The Ground Level of the house features the living area with smart tv and a writing corner (secretary desk), a library (interesting variety of books and music collection), an open-plan, fully-equipped kitchen and a spacious indoor dining area (seats up to 10). Finally, the comfortable master bedroom with panoramic views, king-size, en suite bathroom with shower and 2 independent and comfortable work spaces with views. Outdoor areas at this level include two wind-protected dining areas both with easy access to the kitchen, as well as a barbeque and sink.
 
The Upper Floor level is where 3 more double bedrooms are located. Designed for privacy, the rooms are accessed through their own independent staircases. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and private balcony. First bedroom has a King size bed (or 2 singles), while the other two bedrooms have Queen sized beds.
 
Last but not least, a short walk from the house there is a plunge pool and with a poolside deck where guests can soak up the sun and cool off with a refreshing dip.

Enjoy carefree days swimming at the surrounding beaches and exploring the island, and then repose on warm summer evenings with magnificent sunset views at one of the many outdoors lounging spots, listening to the relaxing sound of the waves, in the quiet and privacy of your vacation home.
